Note
You must have System Settings permissions to access this page. Refer to Adding and Maintaining Users and Access Rights for more information.
MRI•GO, powered by the MRI Search service, is an indexed search system. It stores searchable records in a location that is separate from your production data, which improves the response time of searches.
To ensure search accuracy, system data must be periodically re-indexed. MRI Software employs the full index and the differential index methods to index data. You can request a full index from either Security Console or the MRI Search Administration website. A differential index is run periodically and is governed by the Change Observer timed worker. For more information about indexing the MRI Search Service, refer to the System Administration Guide.
To configure search, follow these steps:
1. Go to Settings.
2. Click Search Configuration.
3. Select the Enabled check box to activate the MRI•GO search feature for your MRI for the Web installation.
4. In the URL field, enter the publicly-accessible URL of the MRI Search API server environment.
5. For each of your MRI databases, configure the following fields:
▪ Search Enabled—Select to enable MRI•GO search for this database.
▪ Suggestions Enabled—Select to enable search suggestions for this database. Enabling suggestions allows users to see relevant search recommendations when searching in MRI•GO.
6. Click Save.
To request a full index from Security Console, follow these steps:
1. Go to Settings.
2. Click Search Configuration.
3. For each database for which you want to request a full index, click Re-index.
