Managing Sessions

Use the Session Manager page to view the sessions in use within MRI for the Web and MRI for Windows, or to disable user logins or web browser access.

Note

If you have super administrator rights, you will not see sessions until you enter a Client ID in the Client ID Override field in the user profile .

You must have System Settings permissions to access this page. Refer to Adding and Maintaining Users and Access Rights for more information.

 

Viewing Sessions

To view sessions, follow these steps:

1.         Go to Settings.

2.         Click Sessions.

3.         Select the Web Login Disabled check box to disable user logins for MRI for the Web.

4.         Select the Windows Login Disabled check box to disable user logins for MRI for Windows.

5.         Each session in use is listed in the grid, with the following information:

            Session ID—The system-generated session ID assigned to the session.

            Client ID—The client ID associated with the session.

            Username—The username of the user associated with the session.

            Database—The database associated with the session.

            Log On Time—The date and time at which the session started.

            Last Activity Time—The date and time at which the last activity for the session occurred.

            Log Off Time—The date and time at which the session ended. If the session is active, this field is blank.

            Status—The current status of the session. Options include the following:

            Active—The session is active.

            Active - Reactivated—The user resumed their session after a period of inactivity.

            Active - System—The system-generated session is active.

            Active - Windows—The session is active in MRI for Windows.

            Logged off - Forced (timeout/admin)—The session ended by admin action or timeout.

            Logged off - Normal—The session ended by the user logging off.

            Logged off - System—The system-generated session completed and was logged off.

            Logged off - Windows—The session ended in MRI for Windows.

            Web Session—Selected if this session is for MRI for the Web, or cleared if the session is for MRI for Windows.
