Resetting Multi-Factor Authentication

You can use Security Console for the Web to send users an email that allows them to reset their multi-factor authentication (MFA) settings.

Note

This feature is only available for clients federated through Okta and not Active Directory.

This option is for individual users. If you want to reset MFA settings for all users at once, use the Policy Settings page.

 

To reset a user's multi-factor authentication settings, follow these steps:

1.         Go to Users.

2.         Select the user to receive the reset email.

3.         Click More Actions, and then select Multi-Factor Authentication Reset. The Multi-Factor Authentication Reset dialog box appears.

4.         Confirm the user's username and email, and then click Proceed.
