Unlocking a Locked User

You can use Security Console for the Web to restore access for users who has been locked out of MRI due to failed logon attempts.

Note

You must have Edit User Setup permissions to unlock a locked user. Refer to Adding and Maintaining Users and Access Rights for more information.

 

To view a grid of users and unlock any number of them at once, follow these steps:

1.         Go to Users.

2.         If you have super administrator rights for an on-premise client, enter the appropriate Client ID in the Client ID Override field in the user profile .

Note

The user list is filtered depending on your Client ID from your login.

 

3.         At the bottom of the list of users, click Multi-User Unlock.

4.         In the grid of users that appears, select the checkbox next to each user you want to unlock, and then click Request Unlock. This grid is sortable by User ID or Full Name.

To unlock a single locked user, follow these steps:

1.         Go to Users.

2.         If you have super administrator rights for an on-premise client, enter the appropriate Client ID in the Client ID Override field in the user profile .

Note

The user list is filtered depending on your Client ID from your login.

 

3.         Select the locked user.

4.         On the User Setup tab, click Unlock User.

Note

You do not need to click Save. The user is immediately unlocked.
