If you are creating more than one property class that will have similar access rights, you can create a new class by copying and modifying an existing class.
Note
You must have Modify Roles permissions to copy a property class. Refer to Adding and Maintaining Users and Access Rights for more information.
To copy an existing property class, follow these steps:
1. Go to Classes.
2. Click the Property tab.
3. In the Database field, select the database that contains the class you want to copy.
Note
If you only have access to one database, it is selected by default.
4. Select the property class you want to copy.
5. Click Copy.
6. In the Copy Property Class dialog box, complete the following fields:
▪ Name—Enter a unique name for the new property class limited to 20 characters.
▪ Description—Enter a description for the new property class limited to 40 characters.
▪ Send to Database—Select the database to contain the new class.
7. Click Copy.
8. To modify any of the access levels for the new class, refer to Adding and Maintaining Property Classes.
