Synchronizing Security

You should synchronize your security after you remove a user account, to update your user and database security configurations.

Note

You must have Database Maintenance permissions to synchronize security. Refer to Adding and Maintaining Users and Access Rights for more information.

 

To synchronize security, follow these steps:

1.         Go to Database.

2.         If you have super administrator rights, enter the appropriate Client ID in the Client ID Override field in the user profile .

Note

The database list is filtered depending on the Client ID.

 

3.         In the left panel, select the database to synchronize.

Note

If you only have access to one database, it is selected by default.

 

4.         Click Synchronize Security.
