You must have Assign Roles permissions to assign a role to users. Refer to Adding and Maintaining Users and Access Rights for more information.
To assign a role to multiple users, follow these steps:
1. Go to Roles.
2. In the Database field, select the database containing the role.
3. Select the role in the left panel, and then click Users.
4. To filter or sort the users by user ID, first name, last name, or assignment status, use the filter fields in the header row of the grid. For example, to see users whose last name contains "Smith", enter smith in the Last Name filter field.
5. You can associate all users with the license, or selected users.
▪ All users—Select the check box in the Assigned column heading. The system selects all check boxes for all users in the grid.
▪ Selected users—Select the check box in the Assigned column for each user to associate with the role.
6. Click Save.
7. When a message appears confirming the role modification, click OK.
