Use the Entities tab of the Sites page to manage your entity mappings for Distributive Processing. The list of entities on this tab is populated based on entities configured in the ENTITIES table (ENTITY-MRI).
If you would prefer to manage your connections based on a list of sites or a list of users rather than a list of entities, use the Sites tab or the Users tab.
To manage your entity mappings, follow these steps:
1. Go to Sites.
2. If you have super
administrator rights, enter the appropriate Client ID in the Client
ID Override field in the user profile .
Note
The database list is filtered depending on the Client ID.
3. In the left panel, select the Entities tab.
4. In the Database field, select the database for which you want to view or manage entities.
5. Once a database has been selected, the page is populated with a list of the entities configured for that database. The columns on this page can be filtered using the Search bars within each column. Review the follow information:
▪ Entity ID—The configured ID of the entity.
▪ Entity Name—The name of the entity.
▪ Active Site—The currently selected active site for the entity. Each entity can only have one active site.
▪ Site Map—A comma-delimited list of all sites assigned to the entity. The first site is always the Active Site.
6. To edit an entity's site assignments, click Edit in that entity's row. The Edit Site Assignments panel opens.
7. In the Active Site field, select the active site for this entity. An active site is the site that performs the majority of data entry and daily and monthly processing activities for the entity.
8. In the Site Mapping grid, select any other sites the should be able to perform routine activities for the entity. This list can be filtered using the Search bars in the Site ID and Site Name columns. At the bottom of the list, you can also choose to show 10, 15, or 20 results per page.
Caution
MRI Software strongly recommends you limit the number of sites that perform routine processing activities for an entity to three sites or fewer.
9. Click Save.
